What is the Klubhouse?
The program initially focuses on individuals/families that have experienced the loss of a sibling/child/loved one. However, grief comes in many forms. This program will also be accessible to all young individuals who have been affected by some form of traumatic change or event in life. Our Story
At the age of 12, Pashan DeShields lost her brother to violence. Based on her childhood experience in this tragedy, she sought out to help other children who faced similar trials and see that they are not alone during their grieving. She seeks to use The Klubhouse to help children connect with others who may share similar experiences and ultimately hoping to give children and youth a different experience than she had.
